RFID technology makes intelligent vehicle management easier in 4S stores

With the improvement of living standards, the number of cars has been increasing, and vehicle repair and maintenance has become a very common scene in 4S Stores. 4S stores repair and maintain a large number of vehicles every day, and the mobility is very large, which makes it difficult to manage vehicles. How can the vehicles in 4S stores quickly collect information? RFID technology makes it easier for 4S stores to manage vehicles intelligently. It has changed the manual recording method of vehicle management in 4S stores, which has greatly improved not only time, efficiency, but also accuracy. In response to various problems that occur in 4S stores, a complete and efficient 4S store vehicle intelligent management system is developed by installing RFID hardware and corresponding functional software based on the actual situation of vehicle management using wireless sensor networks and RFID radio frequency identification technology. From the perspective of actual vehicle management problems in 4S stores, an RFID vehicle management and positioning system in the factory area is developed.

Designed according to 4S stores, it operates independently. 4S stores are designed according to four functional areas, namely pre-inspection area, maintenance area, car wash area and vehicle parking area. The vehicle positioning tag system mainly achieves full coverage positioning in the above four areas and roads within the factory area, and realizes vehicle tracking, real-time positioning, vehicle movement status monitoring, video linkage, data storage, repair work visualization, repair work time preset and alarm, customer mobile phone APP connection system and other management functions.


When the staff pre-inspects the vehicle, they equip the vehicle with a dual-frequency card tag and enter the relevant information of the vehicle in the system computer: the owner's name, the owner's mobile phone number, the license plate number, the vehicle brand, the vehicle model and the service items required for this entry. The relevant funds generated by the service items are bound to the tag. This tag ID number is unique and will not be confused with other tags. Vehicle movement status monitoring. The dual-frequency card tag has a built-in motion monitoring module to automatically monitor the vehicle's movement status. When the vehicle is moving, the acceleration sensor detects the vehicle movement, even if it is only a slight movement, it can be sensed. And real-time feedback is given to the system to facilitate customers to query in time.

Vehicle entry and exit time record. When the staff drives into the functional area, they will bring the card tag close to the directional card reader. The card reader will read the card tag information and automatically transmit the information to the host computer, which will be updated in real time according to the data from the directional card reader. IoT video cameras are installed at each Library-borrowing-machine-touch-query-intelligent-terminal-all-in-one-machine.html target='_blank'>workstation in the functional area and on the road where the vehicle needs to pass. The camera covers all the above areas and cooperates with the omnidirectional card reader to complete the video linkage. Users can use their mobile phones to view the video of their vehicles in real time in the customer lounge. After entering the vehicle information, the omnidirectional card reader at the location of the tag receives the instruction, and at the same time, the camera video corresponding to the card reader will be linked to realize video linkage; this technology is realized by vehicle RFID positioning technology. First, RFID positioning technology locates the location of the vehicle, and then automatically matches the nearest camera to the location of the vehicle.

Vehicle maintenance preset time out alarm When the staff picks up the car, the repair time is preset according to the different repair needs of the customer's vehicle. When the set time is reached, the vehicle repair is not completed, and the system will issue an automatic alarm to remind the staff to handle it. Users can also view it using the mobile phone APP.

When each vehicle carrying an RFID electronic card tag enters the gate of each functional area, the RFID Reader reads the RFID Card electronic tag information, and the RFID reader sends the vehicle information to the control gate through the communication interface, which can locate the vehicle in the area. The manager can query the area where a certain vehicle belongs through the host computer. For example, when vehicle A enters the maintenance area, the RFID reader will read the vehicle tag and record the trace of this vehicle. The manager can query the area where the vehicle is located by entering the vehicle number, owner's name, owner's mobile phone number, and license plate number to achieve regional positioning of the vehicle.

RFID technology has optimized the management of 4S store vehicles to a certain extent, realized real-time vehicle area positioning information, made management smoother, and strengthened the strict management process of 4S store operation processes. Automatically collect information through RFID technology, thereby reducing manual records of personnel and making it more accurate.
