Application of RFID in anti-counterfeiting tracking in my country’s wine industry

food safety Engineering has always been the focus of public attention. Due to the temptation of high profits in the wine industry, many criminals have taken risks and manufactured and sold fake wines. News about fake wines harming people are also reported from time to time. The end of the wine supply chain is the consumer. How to do a good job in customer management in supply chain management, and be responsible for customers and the quality of their own products. For wine companies, it is necessary to do a good job in anti-counterfeiting management of wine products.

But for now, the anti-counterfeiting of wine products is in a rather embarrassing situation. On the one hand, companies have invested a lot of money in research on anti-counterfeiting technologies, but on the other hand, these technologies are always quickly copied by counterfeiters. Wine companies are very concerned about being copied by counterfeiters. The phenomenon of counterfeiting is deeply disgusting, but it seems a little helpless. my country's wine industry is in urgent need of a high-tech, difficult-to-replicate, and truly effective anti-counterfeiting technology.

Advantages of applying RFID to wine anti-counterfeiting management

At present, the anti-counterfeiting methods used by most domestic wine companies have three common drawbacks:

· First, most anti-counterfeiting signs have low technical content and are easy to copy;

· Second, the judgment process of anti-counterfeiting labels is complicated and difficult for consumers to accept;

· Third, overall management loopholes prevent these anti-counterfeiting measures from functioning smoothly.

In contrast, RFID anti-counterfeiting labels have advantages that are more suitable for industry needs:

· Corresponding to a single product, the RFID tag has a unique ID code, which cannot be copied;

· RFID tags are not paper products, are not easy to wear, and do not suffer from contamination or tearing. They are also waterproof and anti-magnetic;

· There are two types of RFID tags: read-only and read-write, with large storage capacity;

· The physical interface of the electronic tag reader is not directly open to the final consumer of the product, which can effectively ensure the accuracy of the information contained in the tag;

· RFID tags can read and write a large number of target products at one time, with high efficiency and fully automatic data processing.

In my country's liquor industry, Wuliangye and Moutai, as representatives of domestic high-end brands, have always been key targets for counterfeiters. Therefore, these companies have strong brand awareness and have invested far more human and financial resources in brand protection than their peers. research on aspects. In early 2009, Wuliangye Group launched an RFID technology anti-counterfeiting project, which was successfully completed and put into use in November of the same year. The entire project invested RMB 200 million, aiming to build a complete RFID overall solution platform. In the early stage of the project, Wuliangye Group initially realized the anti-counterfeiting application of RFID technology for high-end brands with an annual consumption of more than 20 million RFID anti-counterfeiting labels. At the same time, it simultaneously launched multi-functional RFID query identifiers, specialty Store RFID query equipment and handheld The query equipment is more than 800 sets and 2,000 sets respectively. The huge capital investment indicates that Wuliangye Group has high confidence that RFID tags can meet the anti-counterfeiting management of Wuliangye's high-end products.

Some domestic wine manufacturers are at the forefront of the industry in electronic label anti-counterfeiting management. For example, in April 2009, Changyu Winery became the first domestic wine company to apply RFID technology on a large scale in the production field in order to prevent cross-selling and eliminate counterfeit and shoddy products. But generally speaking, the anti-counterfeiting management of domestic wine companies is still relatively weak. Some high-end wine brands have the necessity and ability to use advanced foreign RFID technology to conduct anti-counterfeiting tracking management of products. In future development, we can learn from the experience of the foreign wine industry. Successful practices should be applied based on the actual domestic situation.
