RFID tobacco digital warehouse logistics management system

1. System Overview

The global business competition in the 21st century is not only a single competition that transcends the fields of technology, cost and management, but also a comprehensive competition of the advantages and disadvantages of various global supply chains. The multinational commercial retail giants invest heavily in supply chain strategy, planning, operations management, distribution center planning, warehouse planning, etc., and use the most advanced science and technology to establish a fast and efficient operation system.

RFID technology is used to identify stacks of cigarettes and Store the barcode information of cigarettes in stacks of cigarettes. The read-write function of RFID is used to combine barcodes with RFID electronic tags, allowing the cigarette factory to carry out factory scanning on a stack-by-unit basis. , Cigarette circulation companies conduct commercial arrival scans on stacks as a unit, simplifying operating procedures, improving work efficiency, and reducing workers' labor intensity.

In the digital warehouse management information system, functions such as cigarette receipt management, cigarette storage management by pallet, warehouse business management, and cigarette outbound management by pallet are realized.

2. System composition and process

The RFID digital warehouse system consists of information collection and correlation functions, purchase management functions, shipping management functions and warehousing management information systems.

2.1. Information collection and correlation functions

This part mainly consists of a handheld RFID Reader or mobile reading and writing device, a wireless network access device and corresponding collection and writing control software.

Through the barcode scanning function of a handheld RFID reader or mobile reading and writing device, the barcode information of each cigarette on the tray is scanned, compressed by the software and written into the electronic tag in the tray to achieve the association between the barcode information and the RFID tag. , mainly used for adjustment operations.

2.2. Purchase management function

This part is mainly composed of fixed RFID readers, LED large screens, signal lights, and vehicle control PCs.

When the finished cigarettes enter the warehouse through the conveyor belt at the entrance, the barcode information scan of each piece of cigarette is recorded. When the entire pallet quantity is reached (for example: 30 pieces), it is compressed by the software and written into the pallet through the RFID reader. In the electronic label, the association between the barcode information and the RFID tag is realized, and then the shipment location is calculated through the computer warehouse management information system, and the inventory instructions are sent to the forklift vehicle system through the wireless network, and stored in the corresponding cargo location according to the requirements. The storage information is displayed on the screen.

2.3. Shipping management function

This part is mainly composed of fixed RFID readers, LED large screens, signal lights, and vehicle control PCs. The warehouse keeper enters the delivery documents through the computer warehouse management information system and designates the shipping location, and sends the shipping instructions to the forklift vehicle system through the wireless network. The forklift receives the shipping instructions and goes to the designated location to pick up the palletized goods. Before forklifting, the forklift reader confirms the accuracy of the pallet goods again, and then sends the pallet goods to the delivery port conveyor belt. The delivery port conveyor belt reader reads whether the pallet label information is accurate and verifies that it is shipped correctly. At the same time, the LED display screen The storage information is displayed on the screen.

     3. Stack factory scanning process

Through the location management of item pallets, first-in-first-out management in the flat warehouse is fully realized, which greatly improves the storage capacity of the warehouse.

3. System analysis

This system can prominently achieve the following main functions:

1) Realize first-in-first-out management of goods

The digital warehouse system uses advanced RFID technology, wireless LAN, database and other advanced technologies to realize cigarette pallet storage space management. For each batch of goods entering the warehouse, its entry time, storage location and other information are automatically recorded by the system. When the goods leave the warehouse, the first-in, first-out management of the goods can be realized on this basis.

2) Real-time management of warehouse inventory

Inventory management in the warehouse of the original cigarette distribution center relied on manual reports and manual statistics, resulting in the inability of various departments to accurately understand inventory information in a timely manner. In addition, with the development of business, the number and variety of daily incoming and outgoing goods have gradually expanded, and customer needs have become increasingly complex. The ability to achieve real-time management of warehouse inventory has become an important factor affecting the establishment of a fast and efficient operating system. Managers and relevant departments can grasp the inventory status of the warehouse accurately in real time. The real-time management of warehouse inventory provides a scientific basis for the business decisions of leaders at all levels and relevant departments.

3) Material tracking and graphical management.

On the basis of realizing cigarette pallet storage space management, the system can also realize material tracking and graphical management functions. This function allows inventory materials to be reflected graphically very intuitively and quickly. Greatly improves the warehousing efficiency and sophistication of cigarette item management.

4. Tobacco industry application prospects

The tobacco industry is currently following a trend of large-scale concentration, which indicates that the "one warehouse system" distribution operation model of "modern logistics" will be increasingly used in large-scale and busy logistics distribution. The highly stressful working environment and the need to strictly control costs have led to more stringent requirements for Logistics Management. The powerful management functions inherent in RFID solutions can exactly meet this requirement of the tobacco industry. Regarding the application prospects of RFID in the tobacco industry, there are mainly five aspects:

1. Flue-cured tobacco production link

2. Sales and franchise management

3. Cigarette production link

4. Logistics, distribution and warehousing

5. Wholesale and retail
