RFID is applied to FAW-Volkswagen AGV cars

Cooperating with FAW-Volkswagen Co., Ltd., RFID technology was applied to the project of 96 AGV cars in the Qingdao assembly workshop of FAW-Volkswagen to solve the problem of fixed-point positioning of the cars. The central control system identified the ground RFID tags read by the RFID sensor on the AGV car chassis. Data, through algorithm calculation and comparison of tag data, the AGV car can be positioned at a fixed point, helping FAW-Volkswagen reduce costs and improve efficiency.
