Using RFID technology and ultra-high frequency (UHF) equipment to build a complete library intelligent management system

The system can not only check inventory, but also manage books against theft. A complete library Management system mainly includes the following five parts: label authorization, bookshelf management, manual borrowing and returning, self-service borrowing and returning, and anti-theft detection.

1. Label authorization: use the UHF card issuer to program the book data into the RFID paper label, and authorize the label to the library management system, paste the corresponding RFID paper label on the corresponding book, and then put the book on the shelf . This process can be done using our UHF card issuers for issuing and encrypting authorizations to tags. Labels can be selected and customized in different sizes, depending on the size requirements of the book File, and can be firmly fixed with strong adhesive; we have narrow-edged paper labels specially designed for book management, which can be directly pasted on books closed beta.

2. Bookshelf management: When it is necessary to count and count the books on the bookshelf, it is necessary to read and identify the labels on the bookshelf as a whole, so as to determine the number of books.

There are two options for this process:

(1) Use our UHF handheld for manual scanning, which combines powerful UHF reading and writing functions and two-dimensional scanning functions, has excellent sensitivity, supports Bluetooth communication, and is very suitable for large-scale inventory sites;

(2) Use the UHF eight-channel split machine to connect the UHF bookend antenna. The bookend antenna has the characteristics of double-sided reading, which can accurately read the number of books on both sides. It can also act as a bookshelf, keeping The bookshelves are neat.

3. Manual borrowing and returning, self-service borrowing and returning :

(1) There are staff at the registration service desk. When someone borrows or returns a book, give the book to the staff at the service desk. The staff uses the UHF desktop all-in-one machine connected to the computer to read the labels on the books , complete the borrowing and returning procedures.

(2) Readers take the books they want to borrow and return to the self-service borrowing and returning station, and let the UHF desktop all-in-one machine at the self-service station read the labels on the books according to the instructions, and then go through the procedures of borrowing and returning books by themselves. The realization of these two parts will use the UHF desktop all-in-one machine with built-in antenna, which has the characteristics of fast reading and writing processing of electronic tags, and is widely used in library intelligent management, borrowing and returning systems.

4. Anti-theft detection: Install UHF reading and writing equipment at the door. When people go out, if the reading and writing equipment at the door detects that there are RFID paper tags that have not been borrowed, an alarm will be triggered.

There are two solutions for the anti-theft detection part:

(1) Use the UHF gate channel to complete directly;

(2) Use a four-channel split machine to connect four UHF antennas.
