RFID technology promotes railway lock control system into a new era

With the rapid development of my country's railway transportation industry, the importance of railway safety operation has become increasingly prominent. In order to improve the safety of railway transportation and reduce human operational errors, Hanglian Technology has proposed a railway intelligent lock control system solution based on RFID technology, aiming to provide strong support for my country's railway safety operation.


I. System composition


1. System overview


The RFID railway intelligent lock control system mainly consists of four parts: RFID electronic lock, RFID handheld terminal, RFID Reader and RFID lock control management system. The system uses RFID technology to realize intelligent locking and unlocking of railway equipment, as well as real-time monitoring and management.


2. Detailed explanation of system composition


(1) RFID electronic lock: used to lock railway equipment, such as turnouts and signal machines, to ensure that the equipment is not operated without authorization. RFID electronic locks have functions such as authorized unlocking, lock opening and closing records, and lock cutting alarms.

(4) RFID lock control management system: Central control system, responsible for receiving and processing relevant data of RFID electronic locks, identity authentication and authorization management of operators, and real-time monitoring and remote control of railway equipment.

II. Functional Modules


1. Identity Authentication and Authorization Module


The identity authentication and authorization module ensures that only authorized operators can lock and unlock railway equipment. This module reads the identity information of the operator through the RFID handheld terminal and compares it with the data in the lock control management system to verify the identity and authority of the operator.


2. Real-time Monitoring Module


The real-time monitoring module monitors the locking status of railway equipment in real time through the RFID reader to ensure the safe use of the equipment. The module can obtain the status information of the RFID electronic lock in real time and transmit it to the lock control management system so that managers can understand the locking status of the equipment at any time and deal with abnormal situations in a timely manner.


3. Data Management Module


The data management module is responsible for collecting, storing and analyzing the operating data of railway equipment to provide support for decision-making. This module can record the operator's identity information, the time of locking and unlocking operations, the operating status of the equipment, and other data, and conduct statistics and analysis so that managers can understand the operation of the equipment and the operator's usage habits, thereby optimizing management strategies.


4. Switch lock recording and lock shearing alarm module


The switch lock recording module can record the time of each locking and unlocking operation, the identity of the operator and other information for subsequent query and analysis. The lock shearing alarm module immediately sends an alarm signal when illegal unlocking or lock shearing is detected, notifying the management personnel to handle it in time to ensure the safety of railway equipment.


IV. Application scenarios


1. Railway turnout control


Install RFID electronic locks at railway turnouts, lock and unlock the turnouts through the system to prevent misoperation and ensure the safety of train operation. When the turnout needs to be switched, the operator uses the RFID handheld terminal to authenticate and authorize unlocking before operating the turnout, avoiding unauthorized operation and misoperation.


2. Signal control


Install RFID electronic locks at signal machines, lock and unlock the signal machines through the system to prevent unauthorized operation and ensure the accuracy of the signal system. When the signal needs to be switched, the operator uses the RFID handheld terminal to authenticate and authorize unlocking before operating the signal, ensuring the normal operation of the signal system.


3. Vehicle maintenance area control


Install RFID electronic locks in the vehicle maintenance area, and lock and unlock the maintenance area through the system to ensure the safety and order of the vehicle maintenance process. When the vehicle enters the maintenance area, the operator uses the RFID handheld terminal to authenticate and authorize unlocking before operating the maintenance area, avoiding unauthorized operation and misoperation.


4. Cargo loading and unloading area control


Install RFID electronic locks in the cargo loading and unloading area, and lock and unlock the loading and unloading area through the system to improve the efficiency and safety of cargo loading and unloading. When the cargo needs to be loaded and unloaded, the operator uses the RFID handheld terminal to authenticate and authorize unlocking before operating the loading and unloading area, ensuring the safety and order of the cargo loading and unloading process.
