RFID smart manhole cover management system solution

1.1 Project Overview

      In order to solve the various problems existing in the current urban flooding, urban safety and urban drainage systems, with the development and application of smart city systems and the collection of some important information in the city, we can achieve early prevention, real-time monitoring, and scheduled maintenance. Reduce the losses to the country and residents. With the development and application of the Internet of Things, this system is mainly aimed at the application and function extension of the Internet of Things in the management, monitoring, prevention, and maintenance of urban sewer manhole covers and pipe manhole covers. It monitors sewer water level information, surface temperature and humidity through various sensing sensors. information, manhole cover status information (such as opening and closing, looseness, damage, etc.), and transmits this information to the Internet, and can automatically alert users when a certain part of the status is abnormal. City managers and decision-makers can view the status of relevant equipment and nodes in real time through the backend or portable devices, and determine location and other issues through data analysis. It is easier to grasp information on all aspects of the city, thereby greatly reducing the workload of city managers and maintenance personnel, and enabling more accurate early prevention, real-time monitoring, regular maintenance, and event handling plans.

    Urban intelligence has become the fourth wave after industrialization, informatization, and electrification. Building smart cities is the forefront trend of urban development in the world. Urban manhole covers belong to many industry departments such as municipal administration, communications, gas, heating, electricity, and traffic management. The ownership is complicated and management is difficult. The Internet of Things technology can be used to install an RFID tag on each manhole cover; it is convenient for the management department to collect information and handle the situation. Nowadays, rainwater drainage pipes in many cities are often blocked. Man-made damage has seriously affected drainage, causing frequent road congestion. The occurrence of stagnant water brings serious inconvenience to people's lives, travel and safety. In addition, manhole covers have been stolen and damaged from time to time in recent years, and pedestrians have also fallen into sewers. Excessive highway traffic also affects traffic conditions and people's travel. It is very necessary to carry out systematic management of all aspects of municipal issues. At the same time, in terms of technological development, with the advancement of wireless sensor intelligent sensing technology and the rapid development of Internet of Things (NB-IOT) mobile communication technology and the rapid popularization of related infrastructure for deploying the Internet of Things, it also provides opportunities for the construction of RFID smart cities. Solid technical foundation.

1.2 Construction Goals

1) Establish an RFID intelligent shaft monitoring platform;

2) Incorporate RFID Asset MANAGEMENT. Manhole covers are widely distributed and it is difficult to effectively manage them by relying on traditional manual inspections. There are problems such as difficulty in finding the manhole covers, omissions in inspections, difficulty in measuring the effectiveness of inspections, and poor timeliness of problem response. This wastes a lot of manpower and financial resources. but did not get the corresponding effect

3) Illegal occupation of resources. The lack of effective real-time monitoring and management of assets provides opportunities for criminals to take advantage of. Situations such as manhole cover theft, underground relay theft, and theft through different networks occur from time to time. Illegal occupation of resources It harms the interests of others and wastes social resources.

4) Improve the pipe network's ability to block siltation and discharge sewage.

5) Monitor and record the water volume and inspection information in the well in real time

6) Solve the safety implications. Damage and loss of manhole covers and displacement cannot be repaired in time because they cannot be known in time. This not only affects the normal work of related equipment, but also causes great safety problems for vehicles and pedestrians on the road. , which directly threatens the safety of people's lives and property.

7) Use the command center as the gathering point to realize centralized monitoring and management of the network;

8) Use hardware equipment as the front end to complete the monitoring and integration of various indicators according to preset functions;

9) Taking platform management as the core and using front-end hardware equipment as an aid to achieve remote visual management of each location;

10) Carry out unattended real-time monitoring of public and non-public facilities under its jurisdiction

11) All fire hydrant equipment sends early warning notices to the network supervision platform and mobile phones and their security personnel through NB-IOT, forming an all-weather automatic; early warning + disposal; rapid processing mechanism to maximize the protection of people's safety and reduce property losses .

1.3 Design standards

1.3.1 Basic idea

     We hope to create an intelligent municipal management platform for city managers that can remotely monitor the status of manhole covers, pipe blockage, hydrological status and other information, and at the same time, can promptly alert the police when problems occur and make more efficient solutions. The product can also complete all operations in a visual way.

     The smart manhole cover has built-in intelligent monitoring equipment, which can monitor the status of the manhole cover, the water level under the manhole cover, etc. in real time, and conduct dynamic analysis. Once an abnormality or danger is discovered, such as unauthorized opening or damage of the manhole cover, or the underground water level exceeding the warning value, the platform will automatically send the alarm information to the personnel on duty, allowing them to quickly locate and arrive at the scene for investigation in a timely manner to prevent safety accidents.

1.3.2 Design principles

     The intelligent fire hydrant monitoring system, with RFID Internet of Things technology as the core, collects data from various monitors and transmits it to the background monitoring in real time through the wireless communication system. The software system performs data storage, analysis, query, retrieval, etc. to help users For effective management of municipal fire hydrants, the equipment must have the following characteristics:

lReliability

Fully considering the different usage requirements of various types of monitoring equipment and the needs for use in different situations can ensure the long-term normal operation of the system.

l Security

Designed and manufactured according to various national standards, it can ensure the safe use of the system in many aspects.

l Practicality

Starting from customer needs, it meets the monitoring needs of fire hydrants at all stages in the market, has standardized interfaces, and can be connected to various types of equipment on the market.

lAdvancedness

Using various mainstream technologies, the product can better meet the needs of various monitoring and management, and can significantly reduce the false alarm rate of the product.

l Scalability

Functions can be expanded based on existing products and product compatibility can be upgraded.

l Modular

According to the modular design, it is ensured that each module is relatively independent, and the interface between modules has standard and universal characteristics.

1.3.4 Product Principle

     The installed RFID smart manhole cover detection equipment has the function of real-time detection of the opening and closing posture of the manhole cover and the depth of the water level in the well. It continuously records data from all networked smart manhole cover monitoring points, and records the status of the manhole cover and the water level inside the well through PC and mobile applets. Upload the data and push it to relevant management departments. If an alarm occurs, the management department can dispatch work orders to maintenance personnel for on-site maintenance and send back the maintenance status and photos. The relevant management departments can remotely view various data through the system, and monitor the status of the manhole cover, communication status, opening and closing status, water level in the well, etc. The operation status of the facilities is dynamically monitored.

1.4 Product composition and detailed parameters of each component

      The intelligent manhole cover detection terminal can detect whether the manhole cover is open and the water level in the well. At the same time, it can be used with a wireless intelligent terminal to detect different water levels in the well. The data collected by the intelligent manhole cover detection terminal is networked and reported to the backend server. The terminal host is uniformly used to upload the data to the networked centralized monitoring and command center using the NB-IOT network transmission protocol for centralized processing and management and scheduling of wall display to achieve real-time and effective strategies.
