2. System Principle
When an athlete or sports carrier wears an RFID electronic timing beacon and passes the timing coil on the track, it actively sends data to a nearby RFID data collector in real time. The data collector accurately calibrates the data and then uploads the read timing beacon data to the connection. The computer obtains the relevant information of the athlete or sports carrier and records the corresponding moment when it passes. The special RFID software performs a series of processing on the information.
The starting timing time control can be manually controlled by the ON/OFF switch configured on the data collector, or directly controlled by the firing signal gun. The firing time will be uploaded to the computer background system software, and the background system software will collect the starting time and RFID timing. The beacon information corresponds to the corresponding athlete information and the game statistics are collected, thereby achieving the purpose of automatic and accurate data collection for competitive timing events.
This system can lay a set of timing coils at the end point for precise timing of the competition, and can also set up multiple timing coils on the track for real-time monitoring of athletes' competition conditions.
3. Main functions of the system
1. Statistics of athlete results: After the competition, the computer will calculate the start and finish times, fastest lap times, rankings and other results of each athlete, and print out the results;
2. Display the live game: the information processed by the computer can be used to instantly and dynamically display the live game on a large screen or TV screen, making the fierce game clear at a glance;
3. Store game records: All game records recorded by the computer can be viewed, exported or printed at any time.
4. System composition and architecture
The entire system consists of five parts: a long-distance RFID data collector, an RFID event-specific timing beacon, an RFID timing coil (or timing carpet), RFID competition-specific software, and a control computer.
