RFID plays an important role in warehousing logistics pallet management

With the rapid development of warehousing automation, intelligent production, information construction, and diversified production products, the types of materials managed by warehouses are no longer monolithic. The accompanying requirements in warehousing management are also constantly upgrading. Traditional methods such as barcode labels and manual warehousing management documents can no longer keep up with the pace of modern warehousing management. RFID technology can identify products over long distances, quickly, not easily damaged, and with large capacity. Many advantages are widely used in warehouse management, making all aspects of warehouse management transparent and more efficient. RFID plays a vital role in warehousing logistics pallet management.

RFID warehousing logistics pallet management plays an important role

RFID technology is now an advanced wireless technology supported by the country. RFID can enable many management methods to be implemented wirelessly, and more commercial enterprises will gradually implement coding-to-strip projects. In order to improve operational efficiency, at the same time We should also try not to change the current logistics and warehousing model, so we need to use pallets as carriers. Using pallet markings can make warehousing management more convenient. Pallet markings include the following two points:

1. Use radio frequency technology (RFID) to establish piece stack associations for piece-by-piece arrivals, and ensure the real-time nature of the piece stack associations and their consistency with the physical objects; scan the entire pallet for arrivals to increase warehousing Scanning efficiency.

2. Establish pallet finished product logistics tracking based on piece stack association to improve operational efficiency. It is closely integrated with the three-scanning work of coding to bar items, and improves the efficiency of commercial enterprises in sorting, picking up, and shipping out (scanning codes based on pallets).

RFID technology automatically collects data from each operation link such as warehouse arrival inspection, warehousing, outgoing warehouse, allocation, warehouse shifting, inventory counting, etc., ensuring the speed and accuracy of data input in all aspects of warehouse management, and ensuring that enterprises Timely and accurate grasp of real inventory data, and reasonably maintain and control corporate inventory.

RFID technology makes warehouse logistics pallet management more intelligent

Pallets are the most basic and core cargo unit in the entire logistics supply chain. Pallets have been widely used in production, warehousing, logistics, retail and other aspects. The use of RFID's own advantages combined with supply chain links makes the entire Logistics industry more convenient and faster. The pallet management system based on RFID technology developed by Esek can simplify the workflow in the logistics supply chain and effectively improve the efficiency and transparency of the supply chain.

(1) Finished product container storage

When the empty pallet of electronic tags enters the tray entrance, the reading and writing equipment performs a reading and writing test on the electronic tags to ensure that the electronic tags whose performance meets the standard enter the circulation link. The barcode scanning system scans and stacks the barcodes on the inspected finished product containers. The reader/writer writes the compressed barcode information of the entire pallet container into the electronic label to associate the barcode with the label and Store the information. transmitted to the central management system.

(2) In the warehousing process, pallet containers are changed or scattered containers are assembled.

An RFID mobile reading and writing device is used to re-associate the adjusted container data with the tag, write the new information into the tag, and simultaneously update the central database.

(3) Pallet delivery

Electronic tag information is collected through fixed RFID reading and writing equipment and underground antennas, and uploaded to the central management system. After verification, the system decompresses the data to form container barcode information, realizing docking with the one-dozen-two-scan commercial arrival scanning system.

(4) Distribution center receiving

When the pallet stays in the reading area for 2-3 seconds, the entire container on the pallet can be scanned. There is no need to depalletize single items, scan the QR code, and then stack them.

Pallets are one of the most basic and core cargo units in the entire logistics supply chain in logistics warehousing. The advantages of RFID combined with the supply chain links make the entire logistics industry more convenient and faster. To meet the requirements of fast and accurate warehouse management, in order to increase the efficiency of enterprise management and high operation, and to continuously innovate and upgrade the logistics warehousing model, the use of pallet RFID electronic tags can make warehouse management more and more convenient.
