RFID low frequency 125K knowledge

The low-frequency 125k protocol is a communication protocol used for radio frequency identification (RFID) technology. Its working principle is to transmit data through low-frequency 125kHz electromagnetic waves, thereby achieving non-contact automatic identification and data acquisition.

125K protocol standard

The 125k protocol is a communication protocol for low-frequency radio frequency identification (RFID) technology. It has many different standards, some of which are developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). For example:

ISO 11784/11785: Defines the data structure and encoding method of 125k RFID chips for animal identification.

ISO 14223: Defines advanced functions of 125k RFID chips for animal identification, such as reading, writing and encryption.

ISO 18000-2: Defines the physical layer, data link layer and anti-collision algorithm of low-frequency RFID systems.

There are many types of 125k chip models, which can be divided into the following categories according to their functions, performance and compatibility:

Read-only chips: such as TK4100, EM4100, EM4200, etc., they can only Store a fixed serial number and cannot modify or write data.

Readable and writable chips: such as T5577, EM4305, EM4450, etc., they can store and modify data, and support password protection and encryption functions.

Animal identification chips: such as FDX-B, HDX, etc., which comply with ISO 11784/11785 or ISO 14223 standards and are specially used for animal tags or implantable chips.

The low-frequency 125k protocol has the following characteristics:

The transmission distance is short, generally within 10cm. It has strong anti-interference ability and is suitable for metal or water environments. The data rate is lower, typically 4kbps. The reading range of 125k refers to the reading range of the 125k RFID system, which is affected by many factors, such as chip type, antenna size, reader power, environmental interference, etc. Generally speaking, the reading distance of a 125k RFID system is between a few centimeters and tens of centimeters.

Application scenarios of low frequency 125k

It can be used in various occasions, such as Access Control, access control systems, vehicle identification, animal tags, animal identification, anti-theft systems, patrol management, etc.

In the future, RFID125K will be combined with the Internet of Things, cloud computing, big data and other technologies to achieve smarter, more efficient and safer data transmission and management. Now that there are already 2.4G and 125k application examples, we will develop more new sensor and antenna technologies to improve identification accuracy and distance, reduce cost and power consumption, expand application scope, and apply RFID125K to more fields, such as Medical care, agriculture, environmental protection, transportation, etc., bring more convenience and value to social and economic development.
