By installing RFID readers and writers on the production line stations and installing RFID readers on products or pallets, the production data of the product line can be obtained, and the production line information can be fed back to the information management platform in real time and information for management. The production products move on the assembly line. After arriving at the work station, the workers remove the recycled products and assemble the spare parts. After completion, they are put back into the assembly line until all processes are completed.


System flow: When a product in production with an RFID tag passes through RFID reader A and RFID reader B in sequence, the RFID reader will read the RFID electronic tag information on the product and upload the data to System host computer. Then judge the completion status of the products in production and the operation status of each work station.


Application of production line RFID readers in smart manufacturing production lines:


Data collection: affix RFID tags to the production materials or pallets containing materials, and record product specifications, quantity, time, person in charge and other related information on them, replacing traditional manual records; production managers can read and write through The machine can read product information at any time; other relevant personnel can grasp the production status in time and adjust production arrangements according to the situation, as well as control the flow of materials at any time.


Data transmission: Install reading and writing equipment at each collection point. When materials or pallets with RFID electronic tags pass through the collection point, the RFID reading and writing equipment will automatically obtain the material information and transmit it to the backend. Principle of RFID production line process management system


1. Install RFID readers and RFID antennas at process points that need to be controlled on the production line, and install RFID tags on Tooling boards or material boxes that carry in-process products.


2. Before starting production, use the production management system to match the RFID tag ID fixed on the tooling plate or material box with the production batch number, that is, use the RFID reader to read the RFID tag ID on the tooling plate or material box, and pass The barcode gun scans the production barcode, and the management system binds the RFID tag ID to the production barcode on the product.


In this way, managers can learn from the system which processes the products on the production line have gone through, accurately grasp the data, and understand product production progress and employee work conditions.


3. The current production information (such as name, number, batch, etc.) is generated in the production interface of the management software and written into the RFID tag through the RFID reader. After the writing is correct, the work-in-process is sent to each process for production.


4. Every time the product in process reaches a controlled process point, the RFID reader will write the process content and process point information into the RFID tag, transmit the production data to the server through the network, and update the database in real time


5. After reaching the last process point, the RFID reader reads the RFID tag information on the tooling plate or material box and sends it to the production management software. The production management software counts the number of processes for this product. If there are any omissions, the missing processes can be traced. The operator can return the product to the missing process point for rework. If the number of processes is correct, production will be completed.


6. For finished products in process, the production management system automatically unbinds the RFID tag from the production barcode, and identifies the production barcode as a unique identification code and Stores it in the database to provide a basis for future product traceability.


RFID technology can be called RFID radio frequency identification technology. It mainly works between RFID readers and RFID electronic tags. Data communication can achieve data exchange and then automatic identification. RFID technology enables batch management of data, real-time feedback of production line information, and improved management efficiency.
