Problems with the current underground personnel positioning system
In recent years, large and medium-sized coal mines at home and abroad have successively completed the construction of underground personnel positioning systems. However, traditional underground positioning technologies such as RFID and Zigbee have also exposed some problems. For example, RFID is strictly an attendance identification system, not a real positioning system. It is regionally positioned and not cost-effective. The Zigbee positioning system has a low transmission rate and does not meet the needs of multiple services.
At present, most underground positioning systems have relatively single functions and are dedicated to private networks. They cannot simultaneously meet the basic needs of mining enterprises such as personnel positioning, mobile phone calls, real-time data transmission, and video monitoring. These are precisely the important guarantees for achieving safe underground production.
Failure, repeated construction of multiple systems makes the cost of underground systems higher. How to improve the informatization level of underground mines and improve the traditional underground personnel positioning and environmental monitoring models? Anhui's underground positioning project has put forward their requirements to us. This is also a concern of all mining companies.
The comprehensive underground mine solution based on Wi-Fi wireless technology is directly tailored to address the above problems. System composition
The underground personnel real-time positioning supervision system (Wi-Fi RTLS) consists of three parts: positioning tag (Wi-Fi Tag), wireless LAN access point (Access Point), and positioning server (Locating Server).
The wireless LAN real-time positioning system mainly consists of positioning tags, AP locators and back-end monitoring and management

1) WiFi positioning tag: The positioning tag is worn on each worker as a wireless data collection module. The system tracks and locates people and vehicles by tracking the tag.
2) AP locator: uses the 2.4GHz frequency band, supports 802. llb/g/n mode, collects tag information in a timely manner, and transmits it to the back-end monitoring center to control and manage underground tag equipment. The effective coverage range of each AP base station underground is 100 meters, and the effective accuracy for tags is 5 meters.
3) Positioning server: A monitoring and management center equipped with a positioning server software system, which mainly implements real-time data analysis and processing. Analyze and manage tag data, monitor and promptly display the location of each on-site tag through the electronic map of the control center, the data can be Stored in the storage database at the same time, and monitoring personnel can access the storage server through the computer to query the location of personnel.
