RFID Internet of Things Conference Management System Application Case

◆Project Introduction


There are currently a wide variety of conference sign-in systems, including traditional barcode sign-in, magnetic card sign-in, IC (smart) card sign-in, mobile phone QR code sign-in, etc. However, due to the large number of participants at the beginning of the meeting, the above-mentioned objective defects in the identification efficiency and identification distance of the sign-in system often lead to long waiting times for participants and the phenomenon of queuing to sign in. This problem becomes more obvious especially when people sign in together. Prominent, unable to achieve fast, high-traffic check-in.


In order to speed up the speed of meeting sign-in, strengthen the management of meeting sign-in work, and improve the efficiency of meetings, an Internet of Things conference management system was launched. This system uses UHF RFID, GPRS, WiFi and other IoT technologies to realize automatic sign-in and display of meetings. , participant statistics, meeting and meal text message reminders and other functions. Participants can complete the check-in work without staying. Not only does it eliminate the need to swipe their cards, but it also provides more humanized management. It also brings great convenience to conference organizers, improves work efficiency, and enhances the advancement of conference information management.


◆Key processes


1. Production of representative certificate: The size of the representative certificate is customized according to the requirements of the conference organizer, and an electronic label is encapsulated in the representative certificate. According to the requirements of the conference organizer, the conference name and theme, organizer, undertaker, co-organizer and other information will be printed on the front of the representative card.


2. Information registration: Before the meeting, the names, units, positions, mobile phone numbers and other information of representatives attending the meeting reported by each participating unit will be entered into the conference management system database in advance. When representatives check in, they should collect their representative certificates at the conference registration office; if there are representatives who have not registered in advance, data can be entered in time at the conference registration office and imported into the conference management system database.


3. Information identification and display: The venue is equipped with an open intelligent automatic identification channel and LCD display. According to the actual conditions of the venue, intelligent open RFID automatic identification channels (product code SC-ID-C2) and LCD screens were installed at the main aisle of the conference and the lunch area to realize automatic sign-in and personnel management when representatives pass through the automatic identification channels during the meeting. Statistics and records, while the LCD screen displays the names, units, positions and related welcome words of the participating representatives.


4. Meeting reminder: According to the requirements of meeting management, you can independently set the time point for meeting participation or meal overdue. When it expires, representatives will be reminded of the meeting and meal location and time through text messages.
