1. System introduction
In the Hospital, in the past, if an administrator was looking for a specific patient, he would have to spend a lot of time checking the ward or other places in the hospital. To view medical information such as a patient's medical history, you have to rummage through a pile of paper. In addition, some patients may leave their bed and cross the room or leave the hospital and become lost. Now, the RFID patient positioning system is launched, so that patients under intensive monitoring have their own electronic tags (i.e. wristbands), each of which is marked with their name in the patient management system, as well as all medical history, medications taken and other information , through the visual software system, it is easy to locate and view at any time. This can effectively help managers save clinical time, monitor and track the location of patients in real time, and restrict patients to certain non-safe areas.
2. System introduction
The patient positioning and tracking system launched enables the patient's physical location to be known through the hospital's monitoring computer or the doctor's portable handheld terminal. This enables 24-hour real-time status monitoring of patients and others to ensure patient safety. Our purpose is to reduce the frequency of accidents and improve hospital management by improving patient care.
By carrying active electronic tags on the patient, the receivers that detect these electronic tags are connected to the existing local area network and transmit positioning data to the location software. The physical location of the person can be graphically displayed in the interface of the control software. In order to achieve positioning accuracy and high precision, it is generally necessary to deploy signal receiving and transmission equipment in wards, corridors, halls and other areas to form all-round coverage.
3. System Principle
The basic principle of the RFID patient positioning system is: first, place a number of RFID Readers at each door of the hospital and in all passages that patients may pass through. The specific number and location are determined according to the actual working conditions on site and the functional requirements to be achieved, and They are networked through network cabling and computers in the ground control center. At the same time, each patient is given a wristband tag (electronic tag). When the patient wearing the electronic tag enters the hospital, as long as he passes or approaches any RFID reader placed in the hospital, the card reader will immediately sense the signal. At the same time, it is immediately uploaded to the computer in the control center. The computer can immediately determine the specific information (such as patient information, location, specific time), and display it on the large screen or computer display of the control center and complete it. For backup, the administrator can also click on a certain location in the hospital based on the distribution diagram on the large screen or computer, and the computer will count and display the personnel in this area.
If the patient leaves the ward within the specified time, the console will alarm and display the location of the wrong person and corresponding information. Similarly, if the patient is not in the room within the specified time or goes to the wrong room, the console will still respond and prompt the administrator to perform corresponding management operations.
The computer in the control center will sort out various activity tables for each patient during this period based on the patient movement information over a period of time. In addition, once an accident occurs in the hospital, the personnel at the accident location can be immediately identified based on the personnel distribution information in the computer, and then special detectors can be used to further determine the location of the personnel at the accident site to help managers solve the problem in an accurate and rapid manner. ACCIDENT.
