1. Application background
With the rapid development of modern CNC technology, the types of equipment and processed parts have become diversified. The number and types of Tools have also increased dramatically, and the flow and exchange between tool warehouses, machine tools, and machine tool equipment have become more frequent. The disadvantages of traditional manual management methods and paper barcode management have become more and more obvious, and manual search for tools has become more and more obvious. Difficulty, paper barcodes are easily affected by oil contamination and cannot read information, and the service life of the tool can only be judged by experience.
2. Solution
RFID technology has the characteristics of non-contact reading, rapid identification, penetrating identification, etc.; it has strong environmental resistance and can normally read target objects in dust environment, oil pollution environment, noise and other environments; RFID tag data storage capacity is large, Can Store large amounts of data. It has huge application potential in production data collection, monitoring, and data transmission.
3. Application details
1. Attach an RFID tag to each set of tools, and write the detailed information of the tool into the RFID tag through an RFID Reader, such as name, model, warehouse location, purchase time, last use time, usage times etc.
2. Install an RFID reader on the machine tool. When the RFID reader reads the RFID tag of the tool, it will update the position status of the tool in the database.
3. When the tool is loaded and unloaded from the machine, the tool number and machine tool number are read and written through the RFID Card reader on the machine tool, and the tool usage, usage location and other data are recorded to the background database.
4. When the tools are put in and out of the warehouse, the RFID card Reader in the warehouse records the entry and exit time, user, time and other data.
4. Application benefits
1. Each usage situation is recorded in the database to facilitate analysis of the tool life cycle and data.
2. When each tool is used, RFID can read and write processing data records in real time and upload them to the database.
3. The data read from the tool tags interact with the database in real time to achieve integrated management.
4. Each tool's entry and exit, loading and unloading records are recorded in the database to facilitate traceability of usage.
5. Realize the full life cycle management of tools, reduce the inventory of redundant and duplicate tools, and reduce tool costs.
