IV. System Design


1. Warehouse Management


Install RFID fixed readers at the warehouse entrance and perform radio frequency planning according to the on-site environment, such as installing four antennas to ensure that the RFID electronic tags will not be missed. After receiving the warehouse entry order, the products are put into the warehouse according to the regulations. When the RFID electronic tag (UHF) enters the electromagnetic wave range of the RFID fixed reader, it will be automatically activated and communicate with the RFID Reader. After reading the RFID tag, the system will compare it with the order to check whether the quantity and model of the goods are correct. If there are errors or omissions, manual processing is required to transport the goods to the designated location and place them according to the rules. The main advantage of RFID in warehouse management is non-contact long-distance identification, which can read in batches, improve efficiency and accuracy.


2. Outbound management


According to the delivery plan, sort and process the outbound goods, and manage the outbound goods. For large quantities of goods, push them to the warehouse door, use fixed RFID readers to communicate with RFID tags, collect the RFID electronic tag information of the outbound goods, and check whether it is consistent with the plan. If there is an error, it needs to be processed manually as soon as possible. For a small amount of goods, you can use RFID handheld terminals (such as handheld scanners or RFID tablets) to collect RFID electronic tag information. When an error occurs, the system will sound an alarm, and the staff should handle it in time, send the data to the management center, and update the database to complete the outbound delivery.


3. Inventory management


According to warehouse management requirements, inventory is conducted regularly or irregularly. Traditional inventory methods are time-consuming, labor-intensive and prone to errors, but RFID technology can solve these problems. After the inventory plan is determined, the goods are scanned using RFID handheld terminals to collect clothing information. The collected information can be transmitted to the backend database via wireless network and compared with the information in the database. The system will display the difference information on the RFID handheld terminal in real time for the inventory staff to check. After the inventory is completed, the system will check the inventory information with the backend database information to complete the inventory. During the inventory process, the system quickly and conveniently reads clothing cargo information through RFID non-contact reading (usually within 1~2 meters). Compared with traditional methods, RFID technology can effectively improve efficiency and inventory accuracy.
