The ED1100 ID-plate electronic tag for locating gas and cable pipelines is a domestically produced, ABS/HDPE encapsulated underground tag that is resistant to chemical corrosion and pressure. It is available with or without an ID plate, or with a 10-digit ID plate. The product supports various industry applications and multiple operating frequencies, such as: power (high-voltage cables) 169.8 kHz, water supply (water conservancy) 145.7 kHz, drainage (sewage) 121.6 kHz, communication (fiber optic cable) 101.4 kHz, gas (natural gas/oil) 83 kHz/87 kHz, cable television 77 kHz, and general 66.35 kHz/133.3 kHz. The ID-free version of the ED1100 can be recognized by the ED8000 and 3M Dynatel series detectors, seamlessly connecting with imported products, filling gaps in the localization process of the market, avoiding the long procurement cycle and bottlenecks caused by imported products, safeguarding pipeline Assets, and empowering municipal management and smart pipeline networks.
1. Available in both ID and no-ID versions;
2. The ID version carries a unique ID code, including a 3-digit chip manufacturer code and a 10-digit user code;
3. Detectable depth: 0.7 meters (maximum burial depth varies slightly depending on the frequency);
4. Corresponding detectors for each version of ED1100 are as follows:
ID version: ED8000 detector
No-ID version: ED8000 or other detectors of the same frequency (e.g., can be identified by 3M Dynatel series detectors)
Encapsulation Material: HDPE encapsulation, chemically resistant
Product Dimensions: Diameter 20 cm, Length 76 mm
Product Weight: 0.03 kg ± 10%

√ Water Supply (Irrigation/Pipeline) 145.7 kHz
√ Drainage (Sewage/Waterworks) 121.6 kHz
√ Communication (Fiber optic/optical cable) 101.4 kHz kHz

Recommended Installation Locations for Underground Electronic Tags:
1. Underground pipeline connection points
2. Manhole covers not visible below ground level;
3. Directly buried valves, flow valves, and other facilities;
4. Ports of pre-buried pipes;
5. The starting and ending points, and the apex of the turning radius, of underground pipelines within non-manhole areas. If the turning radius is too large, it is recommended to install an electronic tag every 0.3 meters off the route for accurate positioning, with a minimum spacing of 2 meters to identify the turning path and depth;
6. Crossings of underground gas pipelines with other underground facilities;
7. Both ends of pipelines crossing roads;
8. The highest and lowest points when the pipeline depth change is greater than 0.5 meters;
9. 10. Repaired pipes or joints;
11. Both ends of underground pipelines laid using trenchless technology;
12. Pipelines crossing rivers at both ends;
13. The starting and ending points of all intersections between pipelines and other pipeline facilities or underground structures;
14. Other important underground pipeline facilities marked on the drawings;
15. The maximum distance between two electronic tags must not exceed 50 meters, and the minimum distance must not be less than 1 meter.
Application:
On-site location and depth measurement of underground pipelines and facilities
Pipeline inspection record
Location of abandoned underground pipelines and facilities
Cultural relic site
Marking around protected buildings
Other hidden facilities that are difficult to find in the future
